With a proven track record dating back to our inception in 1867, Longworth Metal Roofing (LMR) has evolved a practice traditionally seen as part of the plumbing trade into a specialist craft recognised and respected within today’s modern construction industry, providing specialist solutions for zinc, copper, stainless steel, aluminium and other hard metals.

Longworth Specialist Construction (LSC) focuses on the specialist design and construction of high pressure laminates and timber rainscreen cladding, providing products such as Trespa, Eternit, Bauclad, as well as a full range of natural timber products.

Our passion for innovation, quality craftsmanship and attention to detail has earned us industry acclaim, not to mention a number of notable awards, including the 1999 John Smith Award for Outstanding Craftsmanship and a commendation in the 2007 ‘Copper in Architecture’ Awards.

By bringing together the cladding expertise of LMR and the joinery experience of LSC, Longworth is able to provide its clients with an unprecedented level of service. Our team works closely together to administer full turnkey solutions, undertaking the design and construction of the envelope of a building from primary structure outwards.
